The last 10 odd months in photos
It’s coming up to a year since I first joined LBi as an Experience Architect. It’s been a good year as I’ve found a role in the industry that is for me, where I can grow and expand my skills.
So, let’s take a look back at the past 10 odd months.
July 2007 – the story begins

The original members of Rookies Cookies
In July 2007, Chris, Mo, Rayelle, Kim and I formed Rookies Cookies. A place where we could blog about our experiences in the company, projects we’d worked on – anything work related really. Rookies Cookies is still going strong and eventually new EA graduates will begin blogging on it. We also hosted ‘Rookies Cookies day’, where we bought lots of cookies and invited everyone in the company to join us for a chat in the big space (where we were placed when we joined).
August 2007 – EA Village fete

The Marcus cake
In August the graduates along with senior members of the department hosted the ‘EA Village fete’. A night for fun and games and lots of lovely snacks and cakes. Kimberly, a fellow EA grad’, was kind enough to make a cake, called the ‘Marcus cake’. Why? Well it very much resembled our head of department Marcus Mustafa.
October/ November 2007
Nathan Sellars and Olive Lee join the company as two more EA graduates, taking us to 5+2 = 7 EA graduates, woohoo! They go through the ranks and get to experience EA bootcamp first hand.
LBi hosts World Usability Day – Positive Experiences in healthcare.
Here’s something I wrote about the day on Rookies Cookies.
December 2007

Olive and I looking very happy at Pizza Express
The graduates go out to Pizza Express for a festive Christmas lunch. We all love pizza very much!
January 2008
I get involved in user research with my colleague and friend for the Map of Medicine. We travelled to Weston Super Mare to observe junior doctors.
February 2008
