I went in to the showing with very vague memories of the BBC Television films. One thing I could remember was the sub title of the film - 'The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe'.

From the outset the film is imaginative and realistic in its depiction of the The Blitz in London. The film is simple and yet unique in itself.
