It’s been a while since you’ve heard from me, so I thought I’d update you on what I’ve been up to. Let’s start with holidays. I’ve been lucky enough to have traveled to India twice this year, after 9 years, which was great. Photos of my most recent trip coming soon. I’ve been ‘mad-busy’ at work, where I’m working on an agile project for one of the UK’s largest telecommunications company.

Outside of work I’m starting work on my online portfolio, where I can showcase my work from the past 2 years. Has anyone got any good examples of online portfolio’s for User Experience Designers/ Architects?

Project 5

Since September 2008 I’ve been working on an internet banking re-design project at LBi (where I work), for one of the UK’s top-five banks. The project is part of a 5-year programme that includes a redesign of the internet banking service, as well moving to new technology platforms. For confidentiality reasons I’ll refer to this project as ‘Project 5’. Continue reading…

Upcoming trip to India

It’s been 8 years since I last went to India, back in 2000. I’ve booked my flights and I’ll be jetting-off to India in March. I’m really looking forward to seeing my family after so long and especially my grandma. My parents are from a village called Madhaphur, in the district of Kutch, Gujarat (north west India). I’ll be going for over a month and will be taking lots of photos and videos. I can’t wait!

Films to watch out for in 2009

Another year has passed by so quickly and it has seen some great films – some of the films I really enjoyed and kept me on the edge of my seat included The Dark Knight, Man On Wire, The Orphanage, Persepolis, Gone Baby Gone and Sweeney Todd.

So, what’s in store for 2009, well, lots actually, but here are just some of the few films I’ve earmarked for ’09, which I’d like to watch at the cinema. Continue reading…
